A Message from the Executive Director

Welcome to the Housing Authority of McAlester (MHA), Oklahoma.

We are making it easier for MHA residents, applicants, landlords, and community partners to connect with us.

MHA is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners which establishes policies, approves budgets and provides general direction for me the Executive Director and Executive Staff.

MHA provides public housing, and Section 8 housing vouchers. Currently, MHA provides assistance to more than 331 families comprised of 640 family members.

MHA's staff is dedicated to providing affordable low-income housing and assisting the families we serve with resources to achieve their goals.

As you navigate our website, I hope you learn exciting new things about MHA and other
helpful resources and community events we have listed.
